When visiting Denman Motor Inn, there is a huge variety of activities in Denman and in the surrounding region, all within easy driving distance from the Motor Inn. This includes a selection of wineries, an Olive Grove estate, cheese making and of course, our horse studs. While there are many other activities, the following are a few which may take your interest.

The Two Rivers Cellar Door provides visitors with the opportunity to taste our wines in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy a memorable tasting experience – our staff are on hand to ensure you experience our range of award winning wines in a comfortable and informative manner.

Just outside the Cellar Door, our courtyard overlooks the vineyard and down to the river. Relax here – soak up the view and enjoy a cheese and antipasto platter of local produce whist sipping a glass of the best.

The Two Rivers Cellar Door opens 7 days from 11 am until 4pm.

When planning your Upper Hunter visit, James Estate cellar door at Baerami is situated atop a hillside with outstanding views of the surrounding Wollemi and Goulburn River National Parks.

More importantly though (from a wine lovers point of view) is the surrounding 250 acres of vineyard that provides the home base for James Estate grape supply.

Visitors to Pukara Estate can relax, taste and purchase a full range of Australian extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and olives along with many other gourmet products on display, as well as see the olive press and learn about olive oil production, first-hand.

Enjoy Toby’s Estate Fine Coffee and Tea along with a selection of slices, all served in the Tasting Room.

The tasting Room is open every between 9:30AM and 4:30PM including Public Holidays.

Hunter Belle Cheese produces gourmet, handmade cheese and yoghurt made from the milk of local Brown Swiss Cows. Our cheese factory, Cafe & Tourist facility are located at Muswellbrook, in the Upper Hunter Valley of NSW.

Hunter Valley Camels was established as a hillside haven for rescued camels. Offering a wide variety of camel milk products such as dairy products, soap, and lip balms, which are supplied and shipped around the world.

Locals and tourists can also experience an authentic camel farm tour, giving individuals an in-depth view of how a camel produces milk and also the history of the camel haven. Visitors also get up close and personal with the farm’s resident camels and star-studded bull. It is a real safari experience!

Bylong Valley Way

The Bylong Valley Way is a picturesque, fully sealed link between the Golden Highway (at Sandy Hollow) and the Castlereagh Highway (at Ilford). It is part of the Greater Blue Mountains Touring Route and an extension of the Tablelands Way (Canberra – Bathurst – Hunter Valley).

Experience the scenic drive through the Bylong Valley, take in the breathtaking views and serenity of the Australian landscape on your way through to Denman.
