Denman Motor Inn
The Denman Motor Inn offers quality Denman accommodation, surrounded by beautiful wineries and only 20 minutes to the famous horse studs of Darley and Coolmore
Owned and operated by Mick and Janine, our spotlessly clean rooms are ideal for business travellers, or those just visiting the Denman area. The Denman Motor Inn is quiet with a lovely pool to enjoy and a BBQ area for guests to entertain themselves rather than eating out.
A full hot breakfast is delivered to your room…of course, with a smile. For dinner, we do recommend a number of restaurants, all within walking distance,.
Our rooms are non-smoking and pets are not allowed in the rooms.
Our rooms offer a wide range of accommodation choices.
Queen Double – sleeps 2 max
Queen Twin/ Triple – sleeps up to 3
Family Room – can accommodate up to 7
Our Family room was constructed to include disabled facilities which meet ISO standards
motel mid December. We were very impressed with the layout of our room and the bathroom. You
have been very thoughtful in what you have included in the room for the traveller – extra towels,
pillows, blankets etc….” Desa G
“Again, I want to state our room, shower recess and toilet were absolutely the cleanest motel
accommodation we have ever experienced; and we are both octogenarians…..you will remain a winner by maintaining the room cleanliness we enjoyed. 110re is the credit to those ladies, who service your rooms….” John B.
A group of my friends and I decided to treat our wives to weekend away on the ‘bikes and we made a random choice to stay in the Hunter Valley, at the Denman Motor Inn. We can’t recommend this venue highly enough!
On arrival we were each given a stubby holder, to hold the complimentary beer that was waiting in a fridge by the pool and BBQ, with a log fire burning alongside (although the weather was perfect and we didn’t need the heat!).
Our hosts Janine and Mick Murnane were very friendly, the rooms were excellent and we were provided with all the ingredients to BBQ our own breakfast, at a very reasonable rate.
The Motor Inn is a short walk from the (not quite “bustling”) centre of Denman where we enjoyed a good meal at the Pub.
The finishing touch to our stay was a towel placed on each bike in the morning so that we could wipe the dew off them.
Denman is a great destination with access via the Putty Road, Wollombi/ Broke Road or a round trip across the Blue Mountains and up the Bylong Way. There are also some great opportunities to see the scale of coal mining in the Hunter Valley (HUGE!). On a more pleasant note, the upper Hunter wineries are within easy reach.
Janine and Mick would like to attract more motorcycle groups to stay with them and we would certainly recommend a visit. By the way, we were also told that the chef from “The Bottom Pub” (who has a very good reputation) has left there and is opening his own cafe/restaurant just up the street. Apparently, the locals can’t wait as his food is supposed to be very good. I assume that “The Bottom Pub” is the “Denman Hotel” as opposed to the “Royal Hotel” which is on the higher side of the street!
